IRMS is proud to offer a wide range of clubs and activities. Our organizations focus on team building, leadership, community involvement, academics, and of course, fun!

Athletics

 

The Jaguar sports teams are a force to be reckoned with. We compete against other Broward County middle schools - including our key rivals Falcon Cove and Pioneer - in six sports:

  • Soccer (boys / girls)

  • Basketball (boys / girls)

  • Cheerleading (girls)

  • Volleyball (boys / girls)

  • Flag Football (boys / girls)

  • Track & Field (boys / girls)

Electives

 

Every year students have the opportunity to customize their learning experience with numerous course electives. While our elective choices are wide-ranging - from music to Spanish to debate - they all have one thing in common: providing critical personal and academic skills development, along with the opportunity for personal achievement. School Spirit

 

Indian Ridge is bursting with Jaguar Pride. Virtually every week there is an activity or an opportunity for our students, teachers, and parents to show how great it is to be a Jaguar. From the Book Fair to Spirit Week to the Jaguar Jog, our school "family" always shines with amazing support for the school and the community. Learn more about the Indian Ridge Spirit.

Jaguar Jog

 

2016 will mark the 21st running of the Jaguar Jog, our school's biggest fundraiser and most popular event. Over the years the funds generated by the Jog have purchased hundreds of laptop and desktop computers, a moutain of athletic equipment, and tools and supplies to enable our science labs. 

Dances

 

In the immortal words of Ren McCormack, "Let's Dance!"

 

At IRMS, dances are one of our traditions and a great way for the students to socialize in a safe and fun atmosphere. Our dances are held on school grounds and each one has an exciting theme.
