This page and the Study Resources page contains a list of critical links and tools to aid parents in enabling their student's success. While these resources are important, they pale in comparison to the daily guidance and support a parent can provide.

Whether your student is transitioning to middle school or preparing for high school, parent involvement must shift. For instance, your focus has to be on checking homework rather than doing homework with you child. And our teaching team is relying on students to demonstrate effort, personal responsibility, and perseverance - reinforcing these ideals at home will enable progress at school. And most importantly, nothing is more important than attendance - it is the single biggest influence on academic success; thus, make sure school is an every day event.

PASSWORD HELP

In order to set up access to most resources, such as Pinnacle, A/R, and BEEP, you will need your student's 10-digit ID number and their birthdate in DD/MM/YYYY format.

FREE BREAKFAST

All Broward County schools make free breakfast avialable to all students.

UNIFORMS

IRMS has a uniform dress code. Uniform shirts and shorts can be purchased at Planet-T Uniforms. If you are in need of uniform assistance, see your grade-level office.

HOMEWORK AND LUNCH DROP-OFF

Classes will not be interrupted for homework and lunch drop-off if your student leaves either at home.

TEACHER AVAILABILITY

Teachers are available by appointment to parents and students, between 830am and 925am. Click here to get started.

MEDIA CENTER AVAILABILITY

The Media Center is available for study and Internet access every day starting at 900am.

BEFORE-CARE

Indian Ridge offers Before-Care starting at 700am, and concluding at 900am; afterward the students go to breakfast in the cafeteria. We do not offer after-school care. Call the main office for more information.

Fun Facts

Indian Ridge Middle School opened its doors to students in 1995.

Last year IRMS enrolled more than 1800 students, making the Ridge the 2nd largest middle school in Broward County.

Student Drop-off & Pick-up Map and Times

Car line gate opens at 845am. Student entrance gates open at 845am. First bell is at 930am. 

Pick-up begins at 400pm. Students must be picked-up no later than 430pm.
